Bellingrath Gardens
Theodore, Alabama

This 65 acre estate garden first opened to the public in 1932, when it was still the private home of Walter Bellingrath. Following his death in 1955, the estate became a public garden, owned by the Bellingrath-Morse Foundation.
Highlights of the plant collection include roses, camellias, azaleas, waterlilies and chrysanthemums.
